Tips on selecting a surgeon for your face lift surgery
1. Research your options.
Start with people you know. Ask friends who have had a face lift and talk to them about their overall experience.
2. Check credentials.
Researching your Plastic Surgeon is important. Review and check for: Plastic surgery training, board certification, hospital privileges, experience and professional society memberships. If a physician claims to be "board certified", make sure you learn the specific name of the certifying board. Our surgeons are Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
The only Plastic Surgery Boards approved by the State of Florida are the "American Board of Plastic Surgery" and the "American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery".
3. Setting up an initial consultation.
Meet your prospective plastic surgeon and staff personally to get answers to your questions about face lift surgery. Ask about the surgeon's training and methods used for your face lift.
